Summers Corner Events
Two Forks Collective was contracted to concept and assist in the execution of all events through the Grand Opening of the community. This included a series of Jeffersonian style salons that we called Dinner & Conversations, builder tours, sponsorship spaces and the Grand Opening.
CHW&F
Charleston Wine & Food approached Summers Corner to be part of the central culinary village, called the "Third Space". We wanted to bring the simplicity of the brand into the space for people to experience and enjoy. There were various spaces in which to rest, snap a photo, grab a refreshing local soda, send a postcard, or have a special flower crown or boutonniére made.
Community Grand Opening
Utilizing some of the spaces and experiences from previous events, we worked with the event team to integrate these on a larger scale for the Opening. The Corner House featured local sodas, beers and fresh food. The Homestead was occupied by the Clemson Extension and Master Gardeners (where they now reside), with demonstration garden beds and a plant sale. The common spaces and barn were full of food, games, bands and plenty of information about the community.
We also had the honor of working with artist and sculptor, Tom Holmes, to create four bird habitat sculptures throughout the first phase of the community. We are happy to report that not only are residents moving into Summers Corner, but the sculptures have taken on their own residents.
